Synopsis |
In a world of cripples, a beggar steals a prosthesis of one of his compatriots. On his way up to light, his avarice for technical improvement grows immeasurably. Finally, he is even capable of hurting himself to achieve his aim.
The film is a simple parable, which directs the technical revolution in a distopic world into absurdity. It is a mixture of different styles such as rotoscopy, pixilation, animation, comic and elements of a real film. The film tries to link the effect of an emotional play with the expressive force of a painting.
