Zed è un ex tassista che ha intenzione di uccidersi nel suo taxi. Adam è un cartoonist con una famiglia che ormai non lo aspetta più e, di ritorno da un lungo viaggio di lavoro, si è perso nella città. Trova Zed e gli chiede un passaggio, senza accorgersi che l’altro ha una pistola. Inizieranno una corsa per le vie di New York, l’ultima per uno dei due. Synopsis It's the 4th of July. Adam and Zed are strangers in the night. The lights of New York shine in the night, but they ignore them. They are two people looking for home. Zed is an ex taxi driver about to kill himself. Adam is a cartoonist with a family that is not waiting for him. Adam comes back to New York after a long travel for work and he gets lost in the city. He finds Zed and asks for a ride, without noticing that Zed had a gun in his hand, ready to shoot himself. They start a road trip across New York, the last one for one of them.
